The Mighty Nein's Opening Sequence Selected the Wrong Critical Role Track

The Mighty Nein, the newest animated adventure by the beloved role-playing group, unveiled a new opening credits. It showcases our favorite group of outcasts, misfits, and criminals kicking ass and making their mark, while also hinting at several agonizing backstories for characters such as Liam O'Brien's wizard Caleb, and another actor's orc warlock, the character Fjord.

Overall, the opening appears amazing. But I couldn't help feeling that something was lost in the music selection.

The intro employs "Welcome to Wildemount", a truly stellar composition created by artist the talented musician. This piece from the official score of the same name, the second release released by Critical Role Productions LLC's music division their music brand. It's a great sentimental option, and I believe that fans of the second campaign will love its inclusion.

Personally, The Mighty Nein's intro fails to capture the excitement and excitement that accompanied the show's live-play sessions. "It's Your Turn", composed by singer-songwriter the artist, became an immediate hit in my view when it was initially unveiled in 2015, and it improved further when cast member the performer added lyrics to the melody for the series' animated intro in the later year.

Featuring vocals from Ashley Johnson, Laura Bailey, a co-star, as well as Riegel himself, the song was catchy and enjoyable. Back then, I hadn't seen the second campaign at that point, but it was so infectious that I kept it on my phone. This track that knows how to get you pumped before you dive into an installment of adventurous fun.

The show's intro with "the new song" fails to hit the same chords in my opinion. It's a grand piece of music, but from what I know of this party, I can't help but feel that its mood is somewhat mismatched.

Naturally, the creators has already said that the animated show will have some changes and differences from the actual-play campaign. An adjusted mood for its opening appears as among these.

The Mighty Nein will be released on the streaming service from Nov. 19. If you can't wait before that, or wish to prepare to learn about the personas of the second series, the original episodes are available on the audio platform and YouTube.
