I will stamp all over 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.

Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As both boxers met for the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
